Let There Be Light: Lenten Sermon Series
Dr. Hill's Lenten sermon series for 2012 will focus on the theme "Let There Be Light!!," as light is explored in the abundance of its meanings throughout the Bible. In both the Hebrew Bible and within the New Testament, light serves as a premier symbol of God's powerful presence and abiding grace. Over the course of the seven Sundays of the Lenten journey, beginning on February 29 through Easter Sunday, April 8, Dr. Hill will explore the blessings and challenges which an en-lightened faith can offer to all who follow the carpenter from Nazareth, "the light of the world."
