New to Community Christian Church
Greetings from Minister Hill
Community Christian Church is a church of service and celebration, a church in the heart of the city, which takes the welfare of the city to heart! We are located on the Country Club Plaza, in a Frank Lloyd Wright designed sanctuary building, in the very heart of America’s heartland.[less -]
We honor the gifts our members contribute in abundance to an ever-expanding ministry of joyful worship, loving outreach, welcoming fellowship, affirming prayer, vibrant Bible study, and sensitive caring for one another. And the gifts are wonderful to see and experience: diversity, unity, creativity, hope, encouragement, commitment, innovation, laughter, cooperation, tolerance, and mutual affection!!

Our Services
Sunday Service
We offer 3 weekend services on Sunday morning. Each service has its own distinct style. The 8 AM service, in Bonfils Chapel, offers a traditional feel for the early risers. Our second service at 9:20 AM is our Journey Service in the sanctuary. This service is progressive, inclusive, and informal; it also features Tim Whitmer & The Journey Band. Our third service on Sunday morning at 10:45 AM in the sanctuary is a traditional service.[less -]
All of our services offer classes for children and youth. We also have a nursery available.
Wednesday Service
Our Wednesday night education classes begin at 6 PM and offer a variety of topics.
Our Location
Community Christian Church is located on the Country Club Plaza on the corner of 47th and Main Street. There is a parking garage that you can get to from 47th street or Main Street as well as a parking lot behind the Activity center which is off of Main Street.

Communion
We celebrate The Lord's Supper, or Communion, in weekly worship, on Sunday mornings and on Wednesday evenings. We believe that The Lord's Table is open and inclusive, a symbol of radical hospitality with Christ as our example. When we partake, we are encourage to examine ourselves, be reconciled and at peace with God and others, and to commit to a deeper spiritual journey.
